Tes is a results-oriented
person who has improved performance at every level. At the corporate
and business unit level, she participated in major change projects
at Pacific Gas and Electric company (eight years with PG&E). At
the department and division level, Tes has helped develop mission,
vision and goal statements, facilitated business planning sessions,
and assisted in restructuring. At the team level, she has lead numerous
team training programs and consulted with teams. At the individual
level, Tes works one-on-one with executives and small business owners.
Her training
experience includes teaching selection skills at McDonnell-Douglas,
diversity skills to executives, management skills to food processing
and manufacturing managers and the Bureau of Mines, as well as negotiation
and communication skills to managers and key staff. She has taught
both entire teams and departments as well as mixed groups.
Tes has a Doctor
of Education degree and has completed coursework and the comprehensive
examination for Ph.D., Organization Behavior, Golden Gate University.
She also has a MasterÕs degree in Counseling from San Francisco
State University and is a licensed Marriage and Family Counselor.
Combining her knowledge of people and groups with business savvy
lets her help businesses and organizations be more successful.
Tes has taught
at San Francisco State University, JFK University and Vista CollegeÕs
Business Division. She has conducted Train-the-Trainer sessions,
and is a certified trainer for numerous programs.
Tes is president-elect
of the Institute of Management Consultants, Northern California
chapter. She is an Executive Advisor for the WomenÕs Technology
Cluster. Tes is a member of the Organization Development Network.
She was President, Golden Gate Chapter of American Society for Training
and Development, in 1989. She is active in her neighborhood organizations,
and in economic development, sustainability and housing organizations.
